How do I know what the relevant processing time is for my visa?
Each visa subclass has different processing times and locations. For this reason processing times vary according to the type of visa you apply for and in some cases also vary according to your country of residence.
Please contact us for an estimation of the current processing time for the visa you would like to apply for.
I have already lodged a visa but have received a refusal or have not heard from the Department of Immigration. Can Christie David Immigration help me?
Yes. Provided that you appoint us as your Migration Agents we can contact the Department of Immigration & Citizenship and liaise with them on your behalf.
In the case of a refusal we will conduct an assessment of your case and determine whether you are likely to be successful in a review. If you are not likely to be successful going down this route we will advise you of the best way of achieving your desired result, if any.
What is the difference between Christie David Immigration and the do-it-yourself immigration websites?
Christie David Immigration conducts a personal assessment of your situation prior to advising you that you are eligible to apply for a visa to Australia. Many other websites ask you to assess your own situation and your DIY packs are not tailored to your needs. You therefore run the risk of making an incorrect assessment of your eligibility to meet the immigration criteria.
At Christie David Immigration a Registered Migration Agent conducts your assessment against current Department of Immigration legislation and policy. We will not advise you that you are eligible to apply for a visa to come to Australia unless we believe that you will be able to satisfy the Department of Immigration's legislation and policy.
